I believe that best cookies are homemade cookies! This recipe is a combination of a classic butter cookies with some condensed milk.

To be honest, I had some condensed milk left after using it for some other recipe. So i was thinking about the best recipe that i could use it for. When i first came up with this idea i was not sure about it. But thank God i didn’t give it up, because this cookies are amazing!

How To Make Condensed Milk Cookies

To start, you will need two bowls. To the first one, sift flour and baking powder, then add salt. Set aside. In the next bowl, cream butter with sugar until well combined. Add in condensed milk and vanilla extract. After that, stir again to combine.

Dry ingredients fold into butter mixture. Stir in chopped dark chocolate. Using hands, roll the dough into small bowls. Sprinkle the dough with a little flour if it’s too sticky. Bake until the edges are slightly brown.

Notes

  • remember to use soft butter, otherwise it will be hard to combine it with sugar
  • you can substitute dark chocolate with milk chocolate or with dried fruits as raisins
  • use vanilla paste for some extra vanilla taste in your cookies
  • use all purpose or cake flour
  • don’t over bake you cookies. Take them out of the oven right after sides get slightly golden. Then cool on a cooling rack.
