Easy, full of strawberries flavour tiramisu. It’s made with ladyfinger cookies and mascarpone filling like the classic recipe. These strawberry tiramisu is perfect dessert for a hot summer day.

This fruit tiramisu is a perfect holidays dessert, served just in cups. However you can also prepare it in some baking pan if you like. This version of popular Italian dessert is made without alcohol, which makes it even better so everyone can enjoy it.

I recommend using ripe strawberries so it will taste sweater and a lot better. In this recipe, I’m also showing you how to prepare homemade strawberry jam. However, if you like, you can skip this part and use just some high quality store bought jam.

Strawberry Tiramisu- Step By Step Recipe

Firstly, place strawberries with sugar in a small sauce pan to prepare homemade jam. Cook for about 20 minutes until thick. Don’t forget to stir from time to time, otherwise it will get stuck to the bottom of the pan. Then set aside to cool. Egg whites beat until stiff peaks. Add in 3 tbsp of sugar in three additions beating after each one. Egg yolks place in a big bowl. Add in sugar and stir to combine. Fold in Mascarpone cheese and beat with a whisk until smooth. After that, fold beaten eggs into the Mascarpone cream. Gently combine using rubber spatula. Take individual glasses, dip half lady finger cookie in cooled coffee until lightly soaked and layer on bottom of glass. Add a layer of strawberry jam and about 3 tbsp of Mascarpone mixture. Continue with another layer of dipped lady finger cookies, strawberry jam and Mascarpone. Place the glasses in the fridge for 3 hours or overnight.

  • 250 g strawberries
  • cup sugar + 7 tbsp
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g Mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup coffee
  • 50 g ladyfinger cookies

Instructions

  • Egg whites beat until stiff peaks. Add in 3 tbsp of sugar in three additions beating after each one.
  • Egg yolks place in a bowl. Add in sugar and stir to combine. Fold in Mascarpone cheese and beat with a whisk until smooth.
  • Fold beaten eggs into the Mascarpone cream. Gently combine using rubber spatula.
